If a Individual (not an Tax Audit person)but having TAN but there is no tax deduction transaction from the begining ,whether the individual has to file any Nil TDS return or it is better to surrender the TAN? Can any One clarify me

Its batter to file nil TDS return than surrender TAN number.
However if there is no longest future business transaction in the trems of TDS applicability then its batter to surrender TAN number.

I agree with Navin Jain.
Although its not necessary as per Income Tax Dept to file NIL TDS returns but its better to file NIL TDS returns so that to avoid future harrasment from the Dept.
