my question is that is there any way to carryforward Opening stock balance to the next year.

because in Balance sheet it shows me that difference in opening balance.

SIR,

IF YOU HAVE BOTH ACCOUNTS & INVENTORY ARE INTEGRATED IN TALLY, U CANNOT EDIT THE OPENING STOCK.

HOWEVER IF YOU WANT TO ENTER A NEW VALUE, PRESS SIMULTANEOUSLY " ALT " AND F3 WHICH WILL TAKE YOU TO COMPANY INFO. USE ALTER AND IN COMPANY DETAIL COLUMN GIVE ACCOUNTS MAINTAINED CHOOSE " ACCOUNTS ONLY ".

NOW CHOOSE CLOSING STOCK BY PLACING THE CURSOR ( CHOOSE EITHER IN THE BALANCE SHEET OR IN THE PROFIT & LOSS ACCOUNT). HOLDING CONTRL. KEY DOWN PRESS THE ENTER KEY SIMULTANEOUSLY TO EDIT THE OPENING STOCK VALUE.
