Tally 9 Rel 3.0 - free for CA

what are sales tax registers in accounting tally? or

sales tax registers

please specify  what are those registers / records

We are a chartered accounts firm,

Till yet we have not used Tally, while doing registration it is asking for Tally Serial No.

Please let us know what is this, Tally serial no., from where we will get this one.

The Executive Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in its meeting held on 8th June 2009 has decided to approve formation of a Directorate of Accounting Technicians (ATs) within ICAI . Free Tally 9 package should now also be made available to those holding an Accounting Technician certificate issued by the institute.
