Hi, One easy way to Export data from Tally 7.2 is to use Export Command (Alt+E), Click Format and Choose HTML, give a File name with location, and Export. Go to the Exported File Location in the Windows Explorer, rename the file with XLS Extention (FileName.xls), click the file to open in Excel. You can also give an XLS extention at the time of Exporting it self. To make the figures Excel Compatible, use REPLACE Command to remove Commas (,). For easier working with data, you can use Ctrl+A and remove the Fill Colour, as also uncheck 'Wrap Text' and 'Merge Cell' in Format, Cells, Alignment Menu. Once this is done, you can work in the same Worksheet or copy the data to any other worksheet. Don't forget to save it as an Excel Work Sheet. CA. Prakash Dugar |
