what is the procedure of surrendering the service tax registration of a proprietorship firm.
registered in nov.2014 but didn't even start the business, nor opened the current account.
just filed the nil return recently.
now, he wants to surrender the st-2.
online application of surrender has been submitted.
but the after logging in the message comes that "there is no record for surrender for surrender as surrender request is pending with the department".
please list me the step by step documents to be submitted at the department. also, the print of the application for surrender can't be taken as the online form is already submitted.
