What is the slab after which surcharge on income tax is applicable

Hi Vinayak,
From the A.Y.2010-11 onwards surcharge is payable by companies only .For domestic companies the rate of surcharge is 10% and for Foreign companies it is 2.5% if their total income exceeds Rs.1Crore .
