It all comes down to you basically. If you can afford to join the classes then do it. ther's a difference between reading and listening. If you do join the classes, then dont worry about makin notes. Absorb all that you can and then you finish it up by reading the book. sShouldn't be much of a dilemma.

Surbhi bansal's classes are a waste of time. I took them and found them extremely vague. The only good thing was that she helped us memorise the concepts by converting them to short form which you can easily arrange from your friends who took her classes.
Else, she is the badmost teacher and makes students sleep with boredom in class.
