Can anyone kindly explain me the procedue of raising the Supplementary invoice durig GST regime

supplementary tax invoice is a type of invoice that is issued by a taxable person in case where any deficiency is found in a tax invoice already issued by a taxable person . it may be in the form of debit note or credit note , because under GST rules taxable person is not allowed to alter invoice after uploading into GSTN.
