"Very senior citizen" means an individual resident in India who is of the age of eighty years or more at any time during the relevant previous year."
Since the assessee has completed 80 years of age on 19.03.2016 or was 80 years & 12 days old as on 31.03.2016, he will be considered as super senior citizen for F.Y. 2015-16.

If an Individual attains the age of 60 years or 80 years during the financial year, his age shall be regarded as 60/80 (as the case may be), for that whole Financial Year.

But in income tax site XL utility released by dept. Is not accepting as very senior citizen. If you type DOB as 19/03/1936. It Consider only as senior citizen ?? XL utility to be change ???

DOB 19/03/1937. Then 79 years 11 days. Now very senior citizen or senior citizen.
