Accounts - PC tulsian without doubts, No question can come outside this book
Law & Ethics- Munish Bhandari
Communication- Module
Cost accounts- PC Tulsian
FM- PC tulsian (there are too many extra things in this, so you should skip those)
Tax- you should buy two books in my opinion, Book 1- TN Manoharan, BOOK 2- Problem and solution book (not the main book) of VK Singhania (very small, but very handy and important)
For ST & VAT - Study material and practice module is more then enough

For CAFM- I m quite sure PC Tulsian is the best...
For tax, this was my strategy and worked very good--
Also for Direct tax, buy a problem and solution book(not the main book) of VK singhania, its very very handy at last moment..entire chapter is given thoroughly in just 4-5 pages and when you revise from there, it will be easier for you to connect and relate different sub-topics..unbelievable..helped me big time.. Have a judicious mix of TN manoharan + Problem and solution of VK singhania... You will be able to finish some huge chapters like PGBP and CG in just few hours, if you first read provision in brief from VK singhania( which is only 4-5 pages) and then read TN Manoharan...
.
For group 2 I can't recommend anything as I have not attempted it yet..
For advance accounts, I m qute sure about PC Tulsian, as I trust his books blindly...

@ pratik solanki, wat ever book u want to do just do it perfectly. marks are not depend on the books wat u read. it totaly on the concept u know. if u take me as an example i got accounts 77 , i learned concept and practise a lot. i studied only study materialfor learning concept and for practising i did practise manual.its my opinion k.

wat i want u to say u is that, dont waste more time for selecting a book to read. wat ever book u read for law u should read more than 2 or 3 times then only u can remember more points. tax u concentrate more on service tax and vat i thnk for that also icai is better because theory u can understand easily and u can remember easily. k thnk u and its my opinion.
