Can I fill the income tax return now from F.Y 18-19 to F.Y 20-21.
If yes, please let me know how much I have to pay tax My income in the 3 financial years are less than 3 lakhs.
You have to bear penalty for non filing of return
For returns filed after 10th January 2020, the penalty limit will be increased to Rs 10,000. However, as a relief to small taxpayers, the IT department has stated that if your total income is not more than Rs 5 lakh, the maximum penalty levied for delay will only be Rs 1000.
And now you can only file return only under condonation of delay u/s 119(2)(b) by approval from CIT. Return for 18-19, 19-20 shall not be possible as last date was already over. For FY 20-21 you can file return now utilities are available
