Submission of cc papers

hello. 

One of my friend has passed the executive group 2 exams this june 2011 and got exemption in GCL(group 1).
My question is that is it compulsory to give the CC papers again to the ICSI fr the remaing two papers in which he was not passed /?

I THINK NO.I THINK YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT CC PAPERS ONLY ONE TIME THAT IS  BEFORE WRITING EXAM..WAIT FOR OTHERS REPLY..

Your friend just have to appear for remaining papers in exam............
