Yes, if rented/sublet for non-residential purpose...

Actually it is given for residential purpose

one of my client is taking a house property on rent. @ 90000 pm...and sublet to some other person @ 145000 pm.....

my query ...is there any gst liability

1. Tax liability will arise, if sub-letting properties is his business....

2. Secondly, if the difference in rent amount is due to any additional service/s provided, then GST gets attracted over the services, so the reason for the difference in rent amount is required to be analysed.

No additional service provided by the party

yes house property given on rent is his business.............but as per notification no. 12 house property given on rent for residential purpose is a exempt supply...?
