No. Official is a concept that is taken as an aggregate of your tenure of articleship. I guess you must be knowing that official figure... it is approx some 180 days (correct me if wrong!).
If you maintain a diary than just keep deducting your leaves and add your extensions, in case leave taken exceeds.
Hope it helps!!..

Your Leave Eligibility is Lower of the following
A) 3 months
B) No of days as per the following workings
Step 1: Total number of Days of Articleship from the Date of Begining till the date from which you want leave
Step 2: Number of Days you had already taken leave
Step 3: Step 1-Step 2 ---- This is the Number of Days you had worked.
Step 4: Step 3 Divided by 6 - This is Total leave eligible to you for the Days you had worked
Step 5: Step 4 - Step 2 ---- This give your balance leave after subtracting the leave taken from your eligibility
Thats all. This is the Leave you can get officially. What you can do is
1. Please take the List of days where you had worked on Public Holidays and Sundays for which you are eligible for Compensatory off.
2. Also, take the number of weeks where you had worked more than 35 in a week. Calculate those extra hours and divide by 7 hours to get number of compensatory off.
Conclusion
Get exam leave as per the above workings and increase you leave days by asking for compensatory holidays. One piece of advice, don't demand these compensatory leave. Request them. Tell them how much you had worked for the firm. Try to persuade them. Good Luck.
