Structured products are an ideal investment tool to meet specific needs that cannot be met from standard financial instruments. They are an option to investing directly and as part of the assset allocation process they help in greatly reducing the exposure to risk.

A reference linked structured product is the product where the return on investment is linked to movement in underlying refernce. The refernce could be based on the single security, a basket of securities, indices like Nifty etc.
