a dealer has been registered on 1st april 2018 in composition scheme.
will he hAve to file any statement for stock as he can not claim itc on stock as on the above date.....

Yes As per Sub Rule (4) of Rule 3 , has to provide Stock Detail in CMP 03.
Dealer has been directly registered in gst.....Not regd in vat or under other laws
NO ,... ITS ONLY FOR THE MIGRATED TAXPAYER FROM VAT OR SERIVCE TAX
