Stipend to foreigner and TDS applicability
We are appointing one American citizen for archival work who will operate from USA. We would pay her stipend for the work. No written document to that effect. What are the provisions relating to such payment to be complied with? What due precautions to be taken?

Stiphend will treat as normal income to that US Citizen. You have to deduct tax u/s 195
