When you answer the points that are crucial or the part which was tricky, you get almost full marks...nothing much for simpler write down..Like if you have got your Cost of control+Minority Interest+ other related adjustments correct, you will get almost full marks...silly mistakes are not that much emphasized upon..the stressed upon point is conceptual clarity..that you know a thing from start to end and you have no chinks in the armor.
In Isca...if your points matches say 1 out of 5 in a 5 marks question, you will get 1 mark, but it should be accompanied with proper descripttion where there is such a requirement..which is almost always.
Having said that...marks checking is subjective and if you have not got accurate answer, it slightly becomes prerogative of examiner to donate or not to donate marks.
