MY CLIENT HAVE "NIL" TDS COLLECTED BUT HAVE BEEN DEDUCTED .
IS IT COMPLUSORY TO FILE NIL RETURN ..???
PLEASE TELL ME STEP BY STEP PROCESS TO FILE RETURN..
PLEASE MENTION DUE DATES FOR PROPEITORSHIP ...

u have software of win etds
1 in that u should create new file in file menu and save it
2. given the details of deductor in that file creation
3. u should select the quarter from 26Q
4. give deductee details i.e after click the deductee button ie no. of pesons u have decucted the tax
5. by click the challan button enter the details of challan ie payment ( amount credit ) and etc., u can easily follow by the winman etds software
6. u have to give deduction details ie deduction of tax against deductee in no. of challans
7. so u want to file nil return u need not give the details of challan and deduction details
8. after save the file click on ereturn in file menu
9. it asked the where to save the file give on desktop by create the new file and named tds
10. then u copy CD fvu file
11. print form 26A and submit one to department with CD

Very nice Swapna,NavratanExactly follow the same process as mention above.
"Nil" tds return is mendatory for TDs-Other than Salary and TCs but In case of Salary (24Q) it is not mandatory.
