Step 1: Visit the Income Tax Department's official website and log in.
Step 2: Once you have successfully logged in, click on the "Download e-PAN" option from the left-hand side menu.
Step 3: Enter your PAN number in the space provided and click on "Submit".
Step 4: Next, you will be asked to enter your Aadhaar card number.
Step 5: After entering your Aadhaar card details (if applicable), enter your date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format and accept the terms and conditions.
Step 6: An OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter this OTP in the space provided on the screen.
Step 7: Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and click on "Validate". If the OTP is correct, you will be redirected to the next step.
Step 8: After the OTP is confirmed, you will be taken to a payment page where you have to pay Rs. 8.26 as a processing fee for the e-PAN card.
Step 9: You can pay the processing fee using any of the available payment options like UPI, Debit or Credit card.
Step 10: Once the payment is successful, you will be able to download your e-PAN card.
Step 11: The e-PAN card will be downloaded in PDF format and will be password protected. The password to open the PDF will be your date of birth.
