category III may get..... becz the limit is already fixed.
category IV members are in large numbers
some system should be introduced for long term focus....
...not a good sign for SME firms if bank branch audit / CAG are not spared for them.

No offer mail for addition in any catagory is made so far by any bank
The discussion was already over and advance limit for selection of branches for audit was already declared by RBI ..two weeks before
The catagories for branches can not declared... becz that depends on the availability of catagory II with every bank... it may go upto very minimum extent of catagory IV... allocation.
yesterday .. ICAI's newly elected president and VP had a meeting with finance ministry and the agenda had this discussion also...... ...
discussions are going on to reduce the advance limit proposed for selection .... but no concrete news
hoping for better to come .....

RBI has sent the list to banks but i think banks have been stopped by RBI from allotting bank audit assignments as final words regarding branches to be audited are yet to be decided.
