What really statutory auditors mean???

Is it that a outside firm providing financial audit and it dsnt include internal auditors.

Secondly imp. thng to ask is it necessary to mention the word statutory auditors in directors report we want to write only the word "AUDITORS"

Statutory Auditors means an auditor which is governed by statutory guidelines i.e. appointed as statutory auditor of company within companies act.

it is different from internal auditor.

you can writer auditor in Director's report and it is must to mention auditor's name in director's report
