Every company has to get its books of accounts audit for every financial year as per Companies Act 2013.If the company got incorporated between January to March of a particular year i.e On February 20th 2021 company was incorporated. Then is it required to get audited for this this 1 and half month.In addition to this First FY will for the company will be FY 2021-2022 for conducting AGM since it has been incorporated between January to March of 2021.Will the same applies for Audit??
First meeting of the company shall be conducted within 30 days of the incorporation of the company. AGM should be conducted within 9 months from the closure of the financial year for first financial year.
Audit is not required for 1.5 months but books of accounts should be maintained
