1) The acknowledgments for ITRs have a column for status..What status are the asking? Individual/HUF/etc.?? Resident / Non Resident/NOR? Return filing status (within due/beyond due date)..etc.,? The ITR Forms do not have codes for the first two and have codes only for returns filed within time/beyond due date etc., Should we fill these codes?
2) A new row (3a) has been added in ITR 4 to show 'current year loss (if any)'. What figure are they expecting? Loss which has been already set off? Loss remaining after set off and to be shown only if Total Income is nil? Will it include brought forward losses still being carried forward?
