Standards on Auditing

The standards on auditing have been revised entirely isn't it?? am a pcc student and would like to know whether its necessary for the pcc students to study the revised standards or not.. or is it enought that we study the relevant chapters in auditing thereby studying the changes also? i have not yet bought any material for studying the revised Standards in Auditing.. pls confirm me..
