Stamp duty on share certificates
When share certficates are issued on subdivision of shares in lieu of the original certificates, is stamp duty required to be paid on the certificates?

There is no need of paying stamp duty again on Sub-divided share certificates as duty has already been paid on Original Share certificates.
On splitting of Share certificates too no stamp duty is to be paid.
