Is there any rate specified for the calculation of Stamp Duty to be paid on transfer of Immovable Assets in a Merger? If not, how is it calculated?

The stamp duty payable is state subject, rates you can find in stamp of respective state. In most of the states transfer on merger is liable to stamp duty.
