stamp duty on transfer is 25 paise for every hunderd rupees on the total consideration for transfer.(all over india-same rate)
Stamp duty on fresh issue i.e on fresh sh. certificates is re.1 for every thousand rupees or part thereof.(as per bombay stamp act)

Thanks for sharing the information related to Stamp suty on bonus issues. Could you kindly enlighten me the provisions which states that. Also let me know what is the remedy if we fail to pay the stamp duty. Thanking you in advance.

The Provision related to Stamp duty on Shares is given under the every states Stamp Act.
The remedy is also written in that act.
