stamp duty in cash
hello, i am buying a property for which i need to pay 150000 rupees stamp duty. now will it be fine if i pay it in cash. and can also claim for deductions in 80c. please suggest.

yes payment towards taxes fees to government is allowable in cash exceeding 10000.
but if you pay in cash such huge amount dept wud query regarding the source for cash.so you need to have adequate documents available to satisfy the dept.
