Stamp duty and Registration

I want to know if I can claim the stamp duty and registration charges cost as loss on house property.

The said property is under construction and possession is expected in 2 yrs.

Will I have to wait till end of 2 yrs to claim the benefit or the same can be claimed now?

Please let me know the relevant section/rule.

THE PROPERTY IS ON THE NAME OF BUSINESS OR PERSONAL?

It is in personal name.

NOW THERE WILL BE NO TREATMENT

 

 

 

& AT THE TIME OF SALE WHILE COMPUTING CAPITAL GAIN, U CAN ADD ALL THE REGISTRATION AND OTHER CHARGES IN COST OF PROPERTY TO GET NET CAPITAL GAIN

Exemption for payment of Stamp Duty and Registration Charges is available u/s 80C in the year of payment upto a maximum of Rs. 1,00,000/-
