Can we filed nil return , if there is no any tranaction in first half 2009-10.

you can file nil service tax return............. but only after some argument they would recieve it......... otherwise, you can opt to file service tax return via www.aces.gov.in after logging it.......in service tax column........

Mr. Datta,

IT IS MANDATORY TO FILE ST-3 FOR EVERY HALF YEAR IRRESPECTIVE OF THE FACT WHETHER ANY TRANSANCTION HAS TAKEN PLACE OR NOT...(EXCEPT WHEN ASSESSEE HAS APPLIED FOR DEREGISTRATION..)
