ST on transfer of of immoveable property

when there is a sale of immoveable property all liablities related to it are also transferred. if using such property if rental services were provided and service tax was due thereon on the date of sale of property will the service tax liability pass on to the purchaser of property or will it be the liability of the vendor himself????????
