Another reason to thank Infosys!
Ive had the same problem. And if I try to attach a screenshot in the grievance, it says "internal server error" .

So I submitted a grievance 10 days ago.
Very clearly Infosys has decided not to read the problems being reported, but just paste something unrelated as a response and mark the grievance as closed.
This was their actual response, basically copies something random from the user manual:
"Downloaded and installed the updated emsigner utility (the utility can also be downloaded and installed while registering DSC- Latest Version 5.8.8.0) •The USB token procured from a Certifying Authority Provider should be plugged in to the computer •DSC USB token should be Class 2 or Class 3 Certificate •DSC to be registered should be active and not expired •DSC should not be revoked •Right Token Manager should be installed by the Taxpayer Unable to find Slot-to change the token name by opting ` name’ on DSC Token manager. The token name should be without special characters (including space). Success message appears without Transaction ID-Taxpayer should select the renewed certificate for registering the DSC instead of expired certificate while registering the DSC under Data Sign. More Than one private key with-Taxpayer to connect with his Service"

I filed another grievance rejecting their claim of having "resolved" my earlier one because their response was unrelated to my query.
I know it's not going to make any difference.
But it made me feel better!

I wouldn't blame the Infosys employees or even Infosys as a company at this point. The entire disaster is solely the fault and responsibility of the Tax Department and Ministry, in my opinion.
And even if there is an error or something goes wrong, if the message was clear on what the issue is, there would be no need to submit a grievance in a lot of cases. That in turn will reduce the workload and dependency on inadequately trained support people.
But this makes sense and is logical. And we all know sense and logic have no place in governmental decision-making!
