I am planning to get a LLP registered, as i am interested in learning new things i would like to do it myself and if its beyond me will approach a professional.
So can the LLP be registered myself. If yes how do i start with. Kindly point me some place where i can start.
And what would be the appx cost of maintenance

You can do it. But for filling form 2 registration of the LLP, digital signature of a professional is required in the statement certifiying alll the requirements of LLP registration has been complied with.
Normal procedure for registring LLP is
1) Obtain DIN for minimum two partners
2) Form 1 for obtaining name clearance
3) Form 2 for registartion of LLp
