what is the meaning of participating n non-participating preference shares?

---> participating shares : these preference shares carry rights as to participation in profit available to equity shares. ---> non-participating pref shares : these shares don't carry such rights

Participating Pref Shares:-

Parti. Pref Share which also get share in surplus after distribution to equity

which not are non part pref share
