Hey Guys..

This post is for those whose final registeration has completed 5 years and now they are facing problem while filling up exam form.

Guys there is a solution for this

Firstly, immediately fill up your revalidation form and send to icai.

Now wait till 20th feb . Wait is for whether you get any response towards revalidation from icai.

In case you dont get any respone..then its ok..now immediatwly fill up your exam form and put the draft date of revalidation as ur revalidation date in exam form. And send ur exam form.

As you know in march icai fives few days to correct any mistakes in exam form. So by that time you would have got some notification from icai that your revalidation is done.

Then simply u can change date.

Guys this is my personal opinion. I m gonna follow the same procedure.

Please let me know in case i have said something wrong. Please correct me.

One wuestion from icai..does icai actually send some notification regarding approval of revalidation. In case somebody knows then pls tell me.

The new date of validation is not mandatory . Only the initial date is mandatory. You can apply for revalidation. In case you receive the acknowledgement from ICAI go ahead and put the date , else be silent since its not mandatory.

Ok mam thanks.

But in that case can i apply for exam form tomorrow..?? Coz tomorrow also i will be applying for revalidation.

And it written in guidelines that you should have valid registeration on the date of apllying exam form.

Please guide mam. Thanks in advance.

Hi you are already having valid registration so you can apply for CA final tommorow itself and just when you receive new registration you can inform ICAI exams dept later...

Dear Priya, Do not think too much about revalidation. Just send revalidation form along with 500 DD to ICAI of ur respective chapter. And fill exam form on line and send it to exam dept of Icai. And then concentrate on ur exam... All the best..
