Small Shareholder Director is appointed by small shareholders ( nominal value of shares not more than Rs. 20,000 ) is appointed U/s 151 of the Companies Act 2013.
So the shareholders who in aggregate hold shares of Rs. 20,000 FV / NV of the Share Capital of the Company can appoint SSD.
