dont bother now about sleep... by the time momentum gains in studies, sleeping hours will automatically come down without causing any harm... the interest and desire to study and achieve the goal is of paramount importance... don't loose your focus...rest all things will automatically be happen
Do not compromise on your sleep. Chances are that it could backfire in your exam preparations. Instead compromise on time spent on TV and mobile. I think around 7 hours of sleep should suffice on an average.

Your brain isn't a machine and it needs adequate rest. Depending on one's body and mind it is suggested anywhere between six to eight hours of sound sleep is essential. As mentioned above by the learned members, you must give reasonable time for sleep, so that you can have a productive and effective studies.

Mr T.N.Manoharan says that if you want to study sacrificing sleep a little bit goahead with studies but if your body wants to take rest then sleep

Everyone needs sleep. It's about how your body functions when u sleep much or less. Don't compromise with sleep as it affects your mood and Studies so, have proper sleep with proper food.
7 hours sleep is must and sufficient also.
