The Registered office means the office of the Company which is registered with the respective office of Registrar of Companies, Ministry of Corporate Affairs. which is informed by the company upon incorporation and also from time to time if they want to change, subject to fulfillment of the legal procedure.
The Head Office may or may not be the Registered office of the Company. The concept of head office and corporate office are within the domain of administrative contingencies of a corporate entity and it is not necessary to have corporate and head office and alternatively one office can suffice these three altogether.
Corporate or Registered office are statutory obligations ...i.e. they are guided by law in force...
But Head office is just like for the convinience of the business in a certain area.. par se... Reliance Communications will have only one corporate or registered at Mumbai.. but it may have Andhra pradesh head office in hyderabad, Tamilnadau head office at chennai...etc...
I hope my opinion is acceptable... any errors please rectify... or post the correct difference...
