Hi Friends,

I have a doubt regarding Signing, marking with Green pen while checking the Accounting Invoices. In my present Company I am Checking the Invoices Accounted by my collegues, also Signing with Green pen at Checked by Place.

Recently Internal Auditors are came & saying that no Company person Should sign with Green Pen.

Please Suggest me whther I can continue signing with Grren pen or I should stop as Auditors saying.

only auditors are athorised to sign with green pen (preferably)

Hi,

Thanks..But I have not marking anywhere in the Bills raised by Vendors. I just marking & Signing on ERP generated Invoice after accounting. Whther this is ok or I shold stop..? :-)

You should stop if internal auditors are concerned about this.I dont see any problem with you making a change.Green pen is for auditors and red pen for markers/reviewers

Avoid colored pens and stick only to blue pen in order not to bring problem to your company in future. Regards Kasang

Don't use green or red pen . You can use any other pen like blue ; black

I would say internal audit dept is under the company control and directives. So if their policies and standards say that as an internal auditor u are not to use green pen then can't. As a statutory auditor u can use green pen without restrictions.

Green is for internal auditor and red pen fr statutory auditors

Hey bro there is no such requirement that green and red for auditors infact for your situation you can use but try avoiding it asfgreen ink is only for gazetted officer auditor no matter a cost accountant or chartered accountant both are not gazetted officer so even they cannot use green or red ink that include internal and statutory auditor.

It's prefer that only a statutory auditor can use green pen in invoice. If he want he can rise the objection on internal auditor for use green pen.....
