While issuing Form 16 to Employees is it necessary that Employer has to sign personally on Form 16 or Fascimile will do?
One of our client is suffering as he has to sign more than 5000 Form 16...

It has to be personally signed. The Board can authorise more than one person for signing if the volume is high.

Which section under income tax act specifies the procedures to give authorisation to an employee for sigining the documents like Form 16/16A etc., Please clarify.

A authorised signatory can be appointed. Or, teh document can be digitally signed by the employer by generating his digital signature
