we have deducted tds of RS.62720 on RS. 1080410 after considering advance tax paid by employee of RS 78000/-
now tds CPC sent us short deduction notice for 77960/-
pls help us how to adjust the demand

we have tds deducted on salary on RS. 1080410/- of RS. 62720/- instead of 140720/-
employee has paid adv tax of RS. 78000/-
so we consider adv tax paid by employee while deducting tds.
now tds CPC sent us short deduction notice for 77960/-
we don't want to pay demand so pls suggest us what to do
