share transactions in Tally

Hi friends

Is it possible to account the share transaction in Tally & enable to take a report of Short Term, Long Term capital Gain, Closing stock of shares & their costs in the year ending. please help in this topic.

U can get the details of Closing STock if u Account it with inventories. U can get there defult avg cost.

for Short Term or Long Term u have to pass the JV in account.

Thank you for replay

But in the contract notes both sale & purchase of shares will be there. it is difficult to pass the entries in purchase voucher & sales Voucher for same contract note. if we Pass entries in Journal voucher under the closing stock will duplicated in the Group -Investment & in the Group Closing stock. please help more on this topic
