Do we need to pay stamp duty on increase in authorised share capital were maximum 25 lakhs stamp duty is already paid in increase in ...If a company alters its share capital/ number of members independently or increases the share capital by conversion of debentures due to order of Central Government, the notice of such alteration, increase or redemption shall be filed by the company with the Registrar in Form No. SH-7 along with the fee.In accordance with the provisions of Section 61(1) (a) of the Companies Act, 2013, a limited company having a share capital may, if so authorized by its articles, alter its memorandum in its general meeting to increase its authorized share capital by such amount as it thinks expedient.
