How much time should be devoted to SFM for the first time study when you have not done any classes? I wanted to know the ideal time considering November 2014 exams.

i would depend on how comfortable you are with the subject on an average it should not take more than 20 days to get through the whole subject

No time limit.Catch concepts as early as possible.
