Do SEZ Rules allow amalgamation??

SEZ Act do not provide for merger or amalgmation of two SEZ units. However, Board of Approval has started allowing such corporate events on case to case basis. In January 2013, IT department has also issued a circular to bring in clarity on this aspect.
