Whether brought forward unabsorbed depreciation can be adjusted against STCG/LTCG?

ya.. it can b set off against all income except salary..
it can b carried forward for an indefinite period..

it can be set off against any income including salary

unabsorbed depreciation can be set off against any income excluding salary since it is considered as a Biz loss.... unabsorbed depreciation can be carried forward for indefinite period.
