Set off excise duty
if a person has truck business m any one purchased trucks from other state n paid excise duty on purchase of trucks ..can he avail set off of excise duty from service tax ??

query is not clear,
1) the business is of buy / sell of trucks
2) the business is related to transport of goods.
and set off the excise duty from service tax ?? is the person manufacuring the trucks , coz the excise is levied on manufacture only

He has contracting business..n bought trucks to use in business from other state n paid excise duty on it.
