Yes... I am also facing the same problem... It is certainly not a browser issue, as the same message reflects in chrome as well as Internet Explorer.

Yes just now my session expired. Yesterday Efiling it was not opening. Server error was coming.
Now it is fine.

I was having the same problem today. The solution is to delete the JSESSIONID cookie stored in browser by the income tax e-filing website.
You can do it in Firefox browser using the Cookies Manager+ add-on. After opening the login webpage, open the Cookies Manager from Firefox Tools menu, search for "incometax" in Cookies Manager+ and delete the JSESSIONID cookie.

i tried deleting JSESSIONID , clear temp files, changed 3 browsers. still SESSION EXPIRED error comes.
i cannot e-file form 35 :(
