What is the procedure of surrender the Service Tax No?

You need to login into your service tax account on ACES and click on surrender. It will ask for reasons for surrender and other particulars. You can keep a track of the surrender application through your ACES account. You may also have to follow up with the jurisdictional service tax office for the same if it takes too much time.
